Wheat harvest around these parts will be dismal this year. Late freeze, way too much rain, army worms.....we've had it all baby. My dad cut a little last night and brother got to ride along. I took some pictures with my cell phone so they aren't the best quality but I think you get the idea.

He's as cute as ever. I hope the lousy harvest isn't a big problem for the farmers (I don't really know how close to the wire these things are).
Yes, the lousy harvest will be a huge deal to most if not all farmers. It's basically their paycheck they have waited all year for and now it's not there. Most farmers have crop insurance but it's not enough to make a living on, just enough to get by til next year. I know of several farmers this year who said this poor harvest will most likely break them financially. :(
Hey Kim! I saw your comment on my blog. How is everyone at Moms>30? I miss all the cool moms there. You all must have gotten our rain for this year, because we are in a major drought. Almost 20" behind for this year and it is still June. Lots of farmers hurting here too. It is so good to hear from you!!! What a big boy you have now, and so cute! Love the cammo!!!

I have no idea what harvest will be like here this year. Half the province is flooded, the other half is drought. Terrible.
